Element Biosciences Aviti Sequencing System
GenCore (New York) has acquired an Element Biosciences Aviti sequencing system, which is compatible with third party libraries, including Illumina libraries.
- Capable of running one or two flow cells simultaneously
- Generates approximately 100 million to 1 billion reads per run, depending on the flow cell type and kit size
- Each flow cell features individually addressable lanes, allowing researchers to run either one pool across the entire flow cell or two independent pools per flow cell
BD FACSDiscover S8 Flow Cytometer
GenCore (New York) has purchased a BD FACSDiscover S8 high throughput spectral flow cytometer for analyzing and sorting BSL-1 and BSL-2 samples.
- Real-time cell visualization and analysis capability
- Equipped with five lasers: blue, red, violet, yellow-green, and ultraviolet
- 78 fluorescent detectors and 6 imaging detectors
- Capable of sorting samples into tubes or plates based on research requirements
